Overtaking a Lufthansa Cargo MD-11F

Here's an absolutely stunning video of overtaking a Lufthansa Cargo MD-11F at FL310 over the North Atlantic.

The video was taken from a shiny new Global Supply Systems B747-800F, passing just 1000' underneath the MD-11F and travelling only 10-15kts faster. North Atlantic tracks separate aircraft flying in the same direction by just 1000 feet instead of the usual 2000, which makes for some great shots. You can even read the aircraft's registration!

Too bad, now Lufty's pilots won't arrive at the hotel first to put towels on the best sunbeds :D
